What can a nutritionist help me with?

The real question is, what CAN'T a nutritionist help me with? What we eat is a key part of our health, performance (both in exercise and our day to day lives!) and wellbeing. Optimising your nutrition can help you feel better, function your best, support sports and training performance, improve your mood, improve body composition and prevent your risk of chronic disease and illness.

I take a very individualised, holistic and evidence-based approach to health and nutrition, which means I take everything that makes up and affects YOU into consideration, from your current diet, to lifestyle and physical activity, mental and emotional health, personal goals and more!

With a long history of battling an eating disorder, competitive sport and being type 1 diabetic, combined with my studies and clinical experience in nutrition and sports nutrition, I am incredibly passionate about helping people feel their best and work towards their goals, which is so individual for every person.

My main passion lies with helping people build a healthy and positive relationship with food, learn to fuel their bodies optimally and optimise sporting performance, and achieve their best health through wholesome and balanced nutrition choices - feeling empowered and confident with your food choices!

What are your qualifications?

I am an accredited Nutritionist and Sports Nutritionist, and have completed a Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine, as well as graduate certificate in sports nutrition.

 I have also completed further training and professional development in sports nutrition, psychology and eating disorders, and hold my certificate 3 in fitness and CrossFit level 1.

Can I get private health rebates on consults?

Yes! Any face-to-face and Telehealth consults can be claimed with most private health insurance providers in Australia,.

 

How many consults will I need?

This totally depends! Some people may just need 2-3 consults, while others require and benefit much more from long-term ongoing support and guidance, either weekly, fortnightly or a few times a year. The best part is, I offer a range of different services to work with what YOU need!

 

Do you provide meal plans?

I sure do! I create very personalised and individualised nutrition plans that are based completely on you, your needs and preferences, and your goals. I am a firm believer that there is no 'one size fits all', which is why my nutrition plans are tailored to you. You can find out more here.

 

I don't live nearby, can I still see you?

Yes! As well as face-to-face consults in Dunsborough, Western Australia. I also offer consults to people living anywhere else in the world through Skype and Zoom!
