Hello there!

My name is Nina and I am a accredited Nutritionist and Sports Nutritionist (BHSc) and CrossFit trainer, specialising in sports and performance nutrition, disordered eating and plant based diets.

A bit about myself: I was born in Switzerland, but now live in sunny Western Australia. I’m also a total foodie (hence all of the wholesome and delicious recipes you’ll find here!), part-time blogger and recipe developer, athlete and type 1 diabetic.

I developed my passion for nutrition after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and participating in competitive sport, but this passion took a downward spiral and led to a long battle with an eating disorder.

Now, I’m the healthiest and happiest I’ve ever been, and work with people all over the world as a nutritionist with the aim to educate, support and empower my clients to learning to fuel their bodies best, optimise their sports performance, achieve their nutrition and health goals and find a healthy balance with food.

I place a strong emphasis on evidence-based, fad-free nutrition, highlighting the fact from fiction, and showing the world that true health is so much more than just kale smoothies and quinoa!
